Document Generation Queue Resolution
The Document generation - Queue Resolution window opens when the same document is being generated offline and real time simultaneously. The window opens regardless of the generation requests being made from a single workstation or multiple workstations. The window provides the document information and available actions. To avoid potential generation problems, you must select the applicable action, and select Done. Option Action Increase the priority (default) Moves the document higher in the queue so it generates more quickly. The priority is from 9 to 1, lowest (default) to highest. When the window opens, the priority is set one level higher than the current priority. You can perform one of the following: To accept the default priority, you can just select Done. You can enter the priority number. You can select the High, Medium and Low buttons to quickly change the priority. Do Nothing Waits for the document to complete. This action cancels the currently requested document generation

Document Generation Results
If document generation is successful, NextGen® Enterprise EHR generates the selected document using all the available data. The system applies any options you selected. The generated document is displayed in the designated document viewer. You can view user and file information for the document, print it, or fax it. To change the generated document, you can enter information directly into it, and adjust the font, size, and other formatting styles as required. The TX Text viewer highlights any detected text errors. The TX Text viewer enables you to: Identify and fix invalid margin conditions Include selected lab and radiology results in the document Select other actions from the viewer toolbars and document menu Identify text detected with possible errors by a red-dotted underline Select an option to remove a duplicate word To save the document, you can select the Save icon on the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Top Toolbar. The document is attached to the selected encounter. After you save the

Generate a Note
On the Objective tab, navigate to the Documents and Printing panel. Click the Generate Note button. A list of available documents appears. Select a document from the list. A preview of the document appears from which you can choose to print the document. Parent topic: Documents and Printing

Generate a Referral Document
Click to highlight the referral on the Referral History grid for which you need the document. Click Referral. The system generates and displays the requested referral document. Parent topic: Referral History Panel

Automate the Document Generation
You can configure the conditions for automatically generating offline or printed documents. To configure conditions for the automatic generation of the document, you must add the document name to the Automatic Document Configuration grid along with its conditions. On the Document Config system template, expand the Document Generation panel. Document Generation panel on the Document Config template Under the Automatic Document Configuration grid, click the blank field, and select the document group from the picklist. Note: The document group determines an event to generate a document. For example, when you select the FV Submit document group and submit charges on the Finalize Visit template, the associated document is generated automatically. Click the blank field for Document, and select the document from the picklist. To generate an offline document, select Offline. To print the document, select Print. Generate Documents
You can search for and generate a document for a patient encounter. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From Top Toolbar, select the Documents icon. The Generate Document window opens. Select the document you want to generate, and select Generate. Parent topic: Generate Information from Document Library
