Document Configuration

You can configure the documents that generates after the patient encounters from the Document Config system template. You can also rename the office note according to provider's preference. The Document Config system template has the following panels: Document Generation Document Renaming Document Contact Information Surgery Scheduling - Document Generation Automate the Document Generation You can configure the conditions for automatically generating offline or printed documents. Configure Document Generations for Surgery Orders

You can configure document generations for surgery orders based on the surgery location and admit type. On the Document Config system template, expand the Surgery Scheduling - Document Generation panel. Click the blank field for Document Group, and select the document group from the list. The list opens for the Surgery Location field. Select the surgery location from the list. Click the blank field for Admit Type, and select the admit type of the patient from the list. Click the blank field for Document Name, select the document to be generated from the document window, and click OK. Click the blank field for Generation Type, and select the document generation type from the list. To generate an offline document, select Offline. To print the document, select Print. Select one of the following options to define when to generate the document. PAQ Enabled PAQ Disabled Always Click Add. The document generation for the surgery order is configured. Add a Custom Automatic Document

To add a custom document that will be generated for specific visit types: Select the field below the Visit Type Group column to select the Visit Type Group that you want the custom document to be generated for. Select the field below the Visit Set column, and then select which Visit Set this document should be generated for. Select the asterisk (*) if you want the document to be generated for all visit sets in the Visit Type Group. Select the text field under the Document Name column. The AINF Nav Get Documents picklist opens. Select the document that you want to have generated. If you want the document to be printed by default, mark the Print checkbox. If you want the document to be sent to an offline document generator by default, mark the Offline checkbox. Select the Add button to add the custom document to the grid. Document Generation Queue Resolution

The Document generation - Queue Resolution window opens when the same document is being generated offline and real time simultaneously. The window opens regardless of the generation requests being made from a single workstation or multiple workstations. The window provides the document information and available actions. To avoid potential generation problems, you must select the applicable action, and select Done. Option Action Increase the priority (default) Moves the document higher in the queue so it generates more quickly. The priority is from 9 to 1, lowest (default) to highest. When the window opens, the priority is set one level higher than the current priority. You can perform one of the following: To accept the default priority, you can just select Done. You can enter the priority number. You can select the High, Medium and Low buttons to quickly change the priority. Do Nothing Waits for the document to complete. This action cancels the currently requested document generation

Document Generation Options

Destination Description Immediate Generates the document immediately and opens it in the designated viewer. You can do one of the following: To save the document to the patient' chart, you can select the Save check box. To print the document on the default windows printer for your workstation, you can select the Print check box to print the document on the default windows printer for your workstation. The document is automatically saved to the patient chart. You can also print the document after it is generated. Offline Generates the document offline and saves it to the patient's chart using the TX Text Document Queue utility. When you select the Offline option, the Generate Server and Printer fields are displayed. Note: You can select a Document Queue processing option to process only documents sent to the machine running the current instance of the utility.
