Display Selected Reason for Visit Annotations

Display the reason for visit in the REASON FOR VISIT pane. From the Extra menu, select Filter Annotations. Only the image annotations associated with that reason for visit appear. For example, two annotations on image one are attached to the reason of fatigue. Other annotations on images one and two are attached to the reason of low grade fever. If fatigue is the currently displayed reason and you filter annotations, only the two annotations on image one associated with fatigue display. Manage Reasons for Visit

You should select the applicable reason for visit before you annotate a finding. You can select multiple reasons for visit for the current encounter, and attach multiple findings to a particular reason for visit. A finding is attached to the reason currently displayed in the REASON FOR VISIT pane. If you have already selected reasons for visit, the last one selected appears by default. If you have multiple reasons for visit, you can display another reason. You also have the option to add reasons to display. If you have not selected any reasons for visit, no value appears in the REASON FOR VISIT pane. Select the reason for visit for your findings. The REASON FOR VISIT pane is refreshed when the Graphical Exam Tool (GET) component is initially appeared or made visible. If the GET component is on a collapsible panel, the reasons for visit are refreshed when the collapsible panel is opened. Remove Reasons for Visits

You can remove a reason for visit for a patient. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Intake template, expand the Reason for Visit panel. Select the Additional / Manage link on the left pane. Add Additional Reasons for Visit Not Listed

Select the Additional/Manage link below the Other field in the left-side navigation. The Reason for Visit window opens. Reason for Visit window Select the reasons from the list on the left. As you select reasons, they enter the fields to the right. For any reasons that you want to follow up on, select the Follow up checkbox above the field for the reason. Select Save & Close.
