Delete an Equipment Report PDF from an Encounter

When an equipment report is deleted, the PDF report that is attached to the patient's encounter is also deleted. However, if you attempt to delete the report approximately five minutes after it was generated, the PDF report is retained to ensure that important clinical information is not lost.

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. Select a patient. (For more information on selecting a patient, see the NextGen®Enterprise EHR Help.)
  3. On the Encounter History tab, expand the encounter containing the equipment report that you want to delete (for example, a Midmark Spirometry Report).
    The selected report appears.
  4. From the Edit menu, select Delete.
