Clinical Tasking Icons

The icons appear in the Clinical Tasking tab are: Icon Description A task was created by you and sent to one or more recipients. A task was assigned to you and has not yet been acknowledged. Task Creator Actions

You can create NextGen® Enterprise EHR or NextGen® Enterprise PM tasks. After you send a task, you can view the responses and reassign rejected or incomplete tasks. You can update tasks or remove completed tasks you have created. Create a NextGen Enterprise EHR Task Procedure to create NextGen® Enterprise EHR task in workgroup. Display Specific Types of Tasks

You can select certain types of tasks to display in the task list. From the Clinical Tasks menu, select any of the following options: Show Completed Tasks Show Removed Tasks Show Tasks Assigned To Someone Else Note: You cannot select options for tasks assigned to you that have not been completed or removed. You can perform following actions: Accept, reject, reply to, reassign, complete, remove, or restore a task. Respond to a PAQ action task. Attach a NextGen Document Management image to a task. Open a patient's chart or the Orders module from the task list. Accept, reject, approve, or deny Electronic Prescribing (eRx) refill requests and resolve unmatched requests. Clinical Tasking

A patient's Inclusion or Exclusion List may restrict your access to clinical tasks. If you are a workflow delegate for another user or provider, you may not be able to access the same patient tasks as that person. If you do not have access to a patient, the Restricted message appears under the Patient Name, Subject, and Description columns.
