The Clinical Reconciliation module enables you to review a patient's existing clinical data and data from any of the following sources:

  - An imported Continuity of Care Document (CCD) or Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture (C-CDA) document.

  - A patient medication history file from an ePrescribing vendor (such as SureScripts®).

  - An HL7 message from a state immunization registry.

From the review of a patient's data, you can:

  - Add clinical data from a supported document type to the patient's chart.

  - Replace clinical data from the patient's chart with clinical data from a supported document type.

  - Delete clinical data from the patient's chart.

  - Review a history of changes made to clinical data using the Clinical Reconciliation module.

An alternative to the Clinical Reconciliation module is the One-Click Reconciliation feature of the CDA Viewer, which enables you to reconcile clinical items in a single C-CDA.
