The Button/Icon bar (also referred to as a Font and Layout bar) is similar to the toolbar for the typical word processing application.

It includes the following elements:

• Change font list
• Change font size list
• Bold, italic, underline buttons
• Alignment buttons (left, right, center, justified)
• Numbering and bulleting buttons
• View magnification list
• Tab-type selection button
• Turn on/turn off paragraph marks button
• Change text color button
• Set line spacing button
• Strikethrough, subscript, and superscript buttons
