For TX Text viewer only, right-click the Ruler bar or Icon/Button bar, and then select Font and Layout. For TX Text, do one of the following: From the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Menu bar, select View > Icon Bar. In the Document menu, select Ruler Bar. Viewer Document Menu

You can display an action menu for the patient document currently open in the viewer. To display the document menu, you can right-click the Document Bar or anywhere in the patient document to display the following menu. The table below describes each command. Command Action Document Bar Hides or shows the Document Bar. Button Bar Hides or shows the Button/Icon Bar. Ruler Bar Hides or shows the Ruler Bar. Insert Page Break Inserts a page break in the patient document at the cursor location. Insert Image Inserts a selected image in the patient document at the cursor location. The Select image window opens. Insert Patient Image Inserts a selected patient image in the patient document at the cursor location. The Select image to insert window opens. Insert Lab Results Inserts specific lab or radiology test results in the patient document at the cursor location. Note: TX Text viewer only. Ruler Bar

TX Text viewer Ruler bar The Ruler bar includes a ruler scale that enables you to set up and view margins, indents, and tabs for selected paragraphs as well as for the entire document. The left document margin is indicated by two stacked triangles; the right margin is indicated by a single triangle. Default tab stops are marked at every .5 inch with an L (Left tab) symbol in the TX Text viewer. You can change the default settings as required. Parent topic: Viewer Window Components

Set up Spell Checker Preferences

In the User Settings section, set your preferences for the spell checker and default layout view of TX Text documents. For the TX Text Viewer only, you can set up the default view for how your TX Text documents display in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. In the User Settings section, select one of the following view options from the Default TX Text View list: Normal View Page Layout View Word Wrap View Note: Normal View is the default.
