Display Archived Documents
Open a saved patient document. Make any applicable changes. Save the patient document. NextGen® Enterprise EHR archives the previous version of the patient document. The Hide/Show archived documents icon appears in the top left corner of the document viewer. Note: The Hide/Show archived documents icon appears only if there is a revision of the document available for display. Select the Hide/Show archived documents icon. The Revision History pane containing all previous versions of the patient Document opens. Select a previous version from the Revision History pane. The selected version is displayed below the current version of the document. Select the Toggle View mode icon to switch the display from horizontal to vertical. Set up Default Document View Preferences
You can set the default view of a document when you open a patient chart in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. In the User Settings section on the Documents tab , select the default view from the Default TX Text View list. Select Apply. Select OK. Parent topic: Documents Preferences

Before you begin As a NextGen® Enterprise EHR user, you must have: Permissions assigned in all of the practices where images may exist for the patient. Access to the document types in the practices. When the Enterprise Chart feature is not turned on, NextGen® Enterprise EHR users can only view the NextGen® Document Management images that are maintained for the same practice. However, by turning on Enterprise Chart, the users can view NextGen® Document Management images that are maintained in any of the practices within the enterprise. Open File Maintenance. In Master Files, select System > Enterprises. In the Enterprises List window, double-click the enterprise from the list. In the Modify Enterprise Information window, select Preferences. The General tab opens in the Enterprise Preferences window. Select the Enterprise Chart checkbox. A message appears to confirm that you want to set the option. Note: After you select the Enterprise Chart checkbox, you cannot turn it off. Select Yes.
