Create a Custom Appointment Status
You can create custom statuses for appointments and associate them with a color. When you create or update an appointment and enter a custom status, it displays in the selected color in the appointments list. From the Appointments menu, select Preferences. The Appointment Preferences window opens. Enter an appointment status in Status. Confirmed and Cancelled are default status. To select a basic color or defining a custom color, select Text Color. The Color window opens. Select a color to associate with the status, and then select OK. Select Add. The custom appointment status and color are saved, and added to the list of status. Delete a Custom Appointment Status
You can delete a custom appointment status if no longer required. In the Appointment Preferences window, select the appointment status to delete. Select Delete. The appointment status is removed from the list of status. Parent topic: Appointments

Change a Custom Appointment Status
You can change the status description or color. In the Appointment Preferences window, select the appointment status to update. To change the status description, enter the new description in Status. To change the associated color, select the Text Color box to display a Color window, and then select a basic color or define a custom color. Choose a color to associate with the status, and then select OK. Select Update. Changes to the appointment status description and color are saved, and added to the list of status. You can open a chart from the appointment list for the selected patient to view the details. To open a patient’s chart from the Appointments tab, do one of the following. Set up the Appointments Refresh Rate
You can change the refresh rate of the appointments list. From the Appointments menu, select Preferences. The Task Preferences window opens. Select the Refresh Appointments Every X Minute(s) check box. Specify the preferred rate in minutes. Use integers only. Select OK to accept the changes. Parent topic: Appointments Preferences Setting
