Add Members to a Family Unit

You can search for available patients to add to current family units.

  1. On the Family Unit Setup window, select one of the following four parameters and select Search.
    • Last Name
    • Social Security #
    • Person Number
    • Medical #
    You can quickly search by typing part of the search parameter. For example, if Last Name is selected and you enter "K" only patients with a last name starting with letter "K" are displayed. You can use an asterisk (*) as a "wild card." All of the patients with the selected parameter are displayed if you chose "*."

  2. From the list of patients in the Available Members pane, select the patients to add to the selected family unit.

  3. To add the selected patients to the family unit, do one of the following.
    • Double-click the patients.
    • Select the Right Arrow button.
  4. To remove the patients from the family unit, select the names in the Current Members pane, and select the Left Arrow button.
