View the Package List

Access the Package List tab on the NextGen® Background Business Processor main window to view a list of all the current NextGen® Background Business Processor packages. You can also view the status and scheduled run time for each package in the list. You can filter the list of packages by server by select a server from the Server drop-down list. The default setting for this drop-down list is << all servers >>. When you select a server from the Server drop-down list, only those packages associated with the selected server display. The Refresh list setting located on the bottom left of the NextGen® Background Business Processor window determines how frequently the NextGen® Background Business Processor updates the package information in the list. When you right-click on a package item, it displays a list of options that can be performed on the package list. The Job Chart option lets you view the job schedules of the selected package at a glance. Parent topic: Create Packages Related task

View Job Schedules of a Package in Gantt Chart

The Package List tab on the NextGen® Background Business Processor main window lets you view a list of current packages in NextGen® Background Business Processor and each package is a set of job schedules that are scheduled to run at different times for different purpose. The Package List tab sorts and displays the packages in an order based on the following column items: the practice name of the package package name package is enabled/disabled package is running last run time of the package result of the last run package next scheduled date and time to run the package You can review the full schedule of a package on a selected server at once through a Gantt chart. It displays each job schedule in a consecutive order with its run times based on a historical run date within the job chart window. You can view any historical date from the time the NextGen® Background Business Processor was installed on the local machine or server. Highlight the package in the Package List. Right-click and

View Package Schedule of a Server in Gantt Chart

The Server List tab on the NextGen® Background Business Processor main window lets you view a list of current servers and their details NextGen® Background Business Processor. The Server List tab sorts and displays package schedule of each server in an order: server name if the server is available if the server is running last service start time last service stop time last duration run total server capacity percentage You can review the full package schedule of a server at once through a Gantt chart based on a historical run date within the job chart window. Any historical date can be viewed from the time the NextGen® Background Business Processor was installed on the local machine or server. Highlight the server in the Server List. Right-click and select Job Chart from the short-cut menu. The Job Chart Schedule window displays with a Gantt chart. Delete a Package

Highlight the package in the Package List. Do one of the following: Right-click and select Delete from the short-cut menu. Select Delete from the Packages menu on the NextGen® Background Business Processor main menu bar. Parent topic: Create Packages

Disable Package

You can disable the package individually in NextGen® Background Business Processor. Highlight the package or packages in the Package List. Do one of the following: Right-click and select Disable from the short-cut menu. Select Disable from Packages menu on the NextGen® Background Business Processor main menu bar. Open a Package

To open a package, do one of the following: In the Package List, right-click and select Open from the short-cut menu. Select Open from the Packages menu on the NextGen® Background Business Processor main menu bar. The Package Properties window opens. Parent topic: Create Packages
