Enable Package
The NextGen® Background Business Processor enables all packages by default. A package cannot run unless it is enabled. If a package is enabled, but it has no schedules that are enabled, it cannot run. Likewise, if a package is enabled, but each of its individual jobs are disabled, it cannot run. Highlight the package or packages in the Package List. Do one of the following: Right-click and select Enable from the short-cut menu. Delete a Package
Highlight the package in the Package List. Do one of the following: Right-click and select Delete from the short-cut menu. Select Delete from the Packages menu on the NextGen® Background Business Processor main menu bar. Parent topic: Create Packages

Configure the NextGen® Background Business Processor to Process a Package Immediately
You can quickly create a one-time package schedule for the NextGen® Background Business Processor application to process immediately. Highlight the package in the Package List. Do one of the following: Right-click and select Queue Now from the short-cut menu. Select Queue Now from the Packages menu on the NextGen® Background Business Processor main menu bar. Open a Package
To open a package, do one of the following: In the Package List, right-click and select Open from the short-cut menu. Select Open from the Packages menu on the NextGen® Background Business Processor main menu bar. The Package Properties window opens. Parent topic: Create Packages

Halt a Package Process
You can halt a package that is in the process of executing its jobs. Highlight the package in the Package List. Do one of the following: Right-click and select Kill from the short-cut menu. View and Delete Package History
To view a history of a package and its activity details, select the History List tab on the NextGen® Background Business Processor main window. It displays a list of packages associated with the selected server. You can filter the list of packages by server from the Server list. The default setting for the Server list is << all servers >>. You can select a different server from the Server list and it displays only the packages that are associated with this server. When you select History List, the Show Last Days field displays as a field for the selection. The package details display in an order under the following columns: Package Name Job # Job Name Server Last Run Time Result Run Duration Items Processed Seconds Per Item Parent topic: Create Packages
