You can create a job to generate and export statements.
Configure the following fields:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Statement Action | Indicates whether you want to print or export the statement. |
Require Account Minimum Statement Amount | Indicates the account minimum statement amount to display on the statements. This field displays one of the following:

Account Minimum Statement Amount | Indicates a dollar value to serve as the minimum statement amount. Balances less than this amount do not display on the statements. |
Account Maximum Statement Amount | Indicates a dollar value to serve as the maximum statement amount. Balances more than this amount do not display on the statements |
Show Only Encounters with a Patient Balance | Indicate whether you want to display only those encounters with a patient balance on the statements. |
Show Encounters in a Budget Status | Indicate the whether you want to display only those encounters with a Budget Status. |
Charge Activity to Date | If you indicated that you want the job to include charge activity to date, enter the time frame you want to include. |
Exclude Void Charge/Transaction Activity | Indicate whether you want to exclude void charge/transaction activity from the statements. |
Statement Break By | Indicates the criteria by which you want the statements to break by. You can select one of the following:

Print One Statement for Each | Indicate if you want the job to print one statement for each:

Statement Sort By | Select the statement field by which you want the patient information on the statement to be sorted. You can select one of the following:

Display Credit Balance on Statement | Indicate whether you want to display the credit balance on the statements. |
Display Detail Information on Statement | Indicate whether you want to display the detail patient information on the statement. |
Show Grid Lines | Indicate whether you want the grid lines to display on the statement. |
Exclude In Progress Encounters | Indicate whether you want to exclude In Progress Encounters from the job. |
Update Last Statement Dates? | Indicate whether you want to update the statement dates when generating the statements. |
Include Outsourced Charges | Indicate whether you want to include outsourced charges on the statements. |
Update Dates On Forced Statements? | Indicate whether you want to update the next statement date when generating the statements. |
Upload Export File To NextGenEDI? | Indicate whether you want to upload the statement export file to NextGen® EDI. |
Upload APC File To NextGenEDI? | Indicate whether you want to upload the statement APC file to NextGen® EDI. |
Statement Location | Indicates one or more service locations for which you want the job to run. |
Statement Provider | Indicates one or more providers for which you want the job to run. |
Statement Run Report: Printer Name | If you indicated that you want the Statement Run report sent to the printer, identify the printer you want to use. You can also apply the following settings to the printer:

Statement Run Report: Export Format | If you indicated that you want the Statement Run report exported, identify the file format you want the job to use. |
Statement Run Report: Export File Name | If you indicated that you want the Statement Run report exported, enter the file name for the exported file that you want the job to use. You can include a date part or counter token in the file name. Tokens are variables that the application replaces with the current date and time or an incremental counter value. |

Statement Run Report: E-mail Export File To | If you indicate that you want the Statement Run report exported, you can set NextGen® Background Business Processor to send a copy of the report to recipients. Enter the email addresses for the recipients you want to receive the file. Separate each email address by a comma. |
Statement Run Report: Save Snapshot | Indicate whether you want NextGen® Background Business Processor to take a snapshot of the generated report. |
Statement Run Report: Snapshot name | Indicate the name that you want the application to give to the report snapshot. |
Check for Statement Exceptions? | Indicates whether you want to check for statements exceptions. The criteria for statement exceptions are:

Print/Export Statements when Exceptions Exist? | Indicates whether you want to generate the statement exception report and process the pending statements. The default value is No. |
Statement Exception Report: Printer Name | If you indicated that you want the Statement Exception report sent to the printer, identify the printer you want to use. You can also apply the following settings to the printer:

Statement Exception Report: Export Format | If you indicated that you want the Statement Exception report exported, identify the file format you want the job to use. |
Statement Exception Report: Export File Name | If you indicated that you want the Statement Exception report exported, enter the file name for the exported file that you want the job to use.
