Open the Orthostatic Vital Signs Template

You can record a patient's orthostatic vital signs on the Orthostatic Vital Signs template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. To open the Orthostatic Vital Signs template, do one of the following: On the Intake template, in the Vital Signs panel, select Orthostatic Vital Signs. On the Intake template, in the Vital Signs panel, select Add Vital Signs, and then select the Orthostatic Vital Signs link. Orthostatic Vital Sign Document Orthostatic Vital Signs You can measure and document the blood pressure and pulse rate of a patient in the lying, sitting, and standing positions for five, three, and one minute with any other associated symptoms and comments on the Orthostatic Vital Signs template. Remove Orthostatic Vital Signs Records You can remove the documented orthostatic vital signs records. Add a patient's vital readings

From the Title X 2.0 template, expand the Vital Signs panel. Click Add. The Adult Vital Signs template opens. Enter the vital details. Click Save and then click Close. Parent topic: Vital Signs

Buttons and Check Boxes in Vital Signs Panel

The following buttons and links available in the Vital Signs panel. Button/Links Description Add Enables you to add new information. Edit Enables you to review and make the required changes to the documented vital signs. Remove Enables you to delete a vital sign record. History Enables you to view the vital signs details in a tabular format. Graph Opens graphical views of the data based on the specialty and age of the patient. Access the Vital Signs Template

You can access the vital signs template to document the patient vital signs. Based on the configuration of the Pediatric Age section on the Practice Configuration template, different vital signs templates appear for adult patients, pediatric patients younger than two years, and pediatric patients older than two years. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open a patient's record, and then open an encounter. On Top Toolbar, select Templates . The Select Template window opens. Open the Intake template. Expand the Vital Signs panel and select Add. The age-specific vital signs template opens. Document the Patient's Height You can document the height of a patient in inches or in feet using the Vital Signs template. Vital Signs

You can add, edit or remove vital signs for a patient using the Vital Signs panel. In the Vital Signs panel you can view vital signs documented during this encounter. You can edit ot remove previously entered vital signs and enter new vital signs. The Vital Signs panel is also available on other office visit templates. The Historical information entered this encounter link opens the Vital Signs History template filtered to display only vital signs documented with patient's encounter. Using the History link, you can review the patient’s entire vital signs history on the Vital Signs History template. Using the Graphs link, you can view vital signs in graphical format on the age-appropriate VS Charts template. Vital Signs The vital signs templates are based on age. The age-appropriate template opens depending on whether the patient is less than two years old, equal to or greater than two years old, or an adult. Document Orthostatic Vital Signs

You can measure and document the blood pressure and pulse rate of a patient in the lying, sitting, and standing positions for five, three, and one minute with any other associated symptoms and comments on the Orthostatic Vital Signs template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open a patient's record, and then open an encounter. On Top Toolbar, select Templates . The Select Template window opens. Open the Intake template. Expand the Vital Signs panel, and then do one of the following: Select Orthostatic Vital Signs. Select Add Vital Signs, and then select the Orthostatic Vital Signs link. The Orthostatic Vital Signs template opens. Note: The date and time of the blood pressure and pulse measurement are displayed automatically. To remove previous data from the fields, select Clear for Add. Note: If the orthostatic vital signs records are available for the current encounter, the Orthostatic Vital Signs template is filled with the corresponding values from the latest record.
