Open the Orthostatic Vital Signs Template

You can record a patient's orthostatic vital signs on the Orthostatic Vital Signs template.

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. To open the Orthostatic Vital Signs template, do one of the following:
    • On the Intake template, in the Vital Signs panel, select Orthostatic Vital Signs.
    • On the Intake template, in the Vital Signs panel, select Add Vital Signs, and then select the Orthostatic Vital Signs link.

  • Document Orthostatic Vital Signs You can measure and document the blood pressure and pulse rate of a patient in the lying, sitting, and standing positions for five, three, and one minute with any other associated symptoms and comments on the Orthostatic Vital Signs template.
  • Remove Orthostatic Vital Signs Records You can remove the documented orthostatic vital signs records.
