Document Orthostatic Vital Signs

You can measure and document the blood pressure and pulse rate of a patient in the lying, sitting, and standing positions for five, three, and one minute with any other associated symptoms and comments on the Orthostatic Vital Signs template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open a patient's record, and then open an encounter. On Top Toolbar, select Templates . The Select Template window opens. Open the Intake template. Expand the Vital Signs panel, and then do one of the following: Select Orthostatic Vital Signs. Select Add Vital Signs, and then select the Orthostatic Vital Signs link. The Orthostatic Vital Signs template opens. Note: The date and time of the blood pressure and pulse measurement are displayed automatically. To remove previous data from the fields, select Clear for Add. Note: If the orthostatic vital signs records are available for the current encounter, the Orthostatic Vital Signs template is filled with the corresponding values from the latest record. Open the Orthostatic Vital Signs Template

You can record a patient's orthostatic vital signs on the Orthostatic Vital Signs template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. To open the Orthostatic Vital Signs template, do one of the following: On the Intake template, in the Vital Signs panel, select Orthostatic Vital Signs. On the Intake template, in the Vital Signs panel, select Add Vital Signs, and then select the Orthostatic Vital Signs link. Document Vital Signs

The provider reviews the vital signs added by the Intake staff on the Intake template and makes the applicable changes. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the SOAP template, expand the Vital Signs panel. Vital Signs Select Add. The age-specific vital signs template opens. Enter the necessary details on the template. Select Save. Note: Clear For Add is used to clear the existing data and add data. Select Close. To remove a record from the grid in the Vital Signs panel, select a record, and select Remove. Edit Orthostatic Vital Sign Symptoms

Open the Data Sets Setup practice template. In the Data Sets Setup practice template, click Data Set and then select Orthostatic Vital Sign Symptoms. The existing data set items associated with the Orthostatic Vital Sign Symptoms data set appear in the grid. Select data set item from the grid and then click Update. Open the Vital Signs Template

You can document a patient's vital signs details on the Vital Signs template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. To open the Templates module on a patient encounter, do one of the following: On the Categories or Encounter History tab, select Open Template. On Top Toolbar, select Templates . On the main menu, select File > New > Template. The Select Template window opens. Open the Intake template. In the Vital Signs panel, select Add.The Adult Vital Signs template opens. Edit Vital Signs

You can edit the vital signs details entered during the intake process, in the Vital Signs panel on the SOAP template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the SOAP template. In Vital Signs, select the vital sign record that you want to edit and select Edit. Note: If you need to update a vital sign, ensure that you are editing the desired record, as multiple vital signs can be entered for the encounter. The Vital Signs template opens.
