Vital Signs
The Vital Signs panel displays details about a patient’s vitals and enables you to access and document a patient's vital signs. This panel also contains links that you can click to record pertinent details. For example, to add the orthostatic vital signs, you can click the Orthostatic Vital Signs link and then document the vitals. Link Description Orthostatic Vital Signs Click the Orthostatic Vital Signs link to add the Orthostatic vital signs. Historical Information Entered this Encounter Click the link to view the historical information entered during the current encounter. Health Promotion Plan Click the link to review and update document the patient's Health Promotion Plan. History Click this link to view the patient’s vital signs history. Graph Click this link to view the vital signs graphs. Add a patient's vital readings The Vital Signs panel enables you to review and update the vitals of a patient. Document Vital Signs in the OB Postpartum Template
Select the Postpartum tab. Select Add in the Vital Signs panel. The Adult Vital Signs template opens. Enter the Vital Signs information. Select Save and Close. The information displays in the Vital Signs grid. Vital Signs Parent topic: Document the OB Postpartum Visit Template

Enter Vital Signs
Use the Vital Signs link to document vital signs obtained during the visit. Select the Vital Signs link. The Vital Signs template opens. Select the Add button on the Vital Signs template. The Vital Signs (Adult or Pediatric) template opens. Vital Signs template Document vital signs information such as Height, Weight, BP and Pulse. Select Save. Select Close to close the template. Vital Signs Graphs
You can view vital signs in graph format. Click the Graph link next to the Vitals grid. Adult Vital Signs Graphs template The Adult Vital Signs Graphs template opens, showing a graph of the patient’s blood pressure. Use the side navigation to view graphs of other vital signs.
