Open the
My Custom Plan
template.
Highlight a row from the order set populating in the grid for the
Pending Orders
section.
In the
Order Options
section, highlight the order to be modified and make the necessary changes to the referral.
Click
Update
.
Notice the referral is updated in the grid under
Pending Orders
.

Filter Pending Orders
Open the My Custom Plan template. In the My Plan panel, Pending Orders section, click the View field to filter items in the grid by a selected plan type. If Ask at Order Entry questions apply, select AOE to view the questions. View Order Sets with a Referral
Open the My Custom Plan template. With the diagnosis highlighted, go to the Order Options section to choose the Plan Type of Order Set. Assign a Referral to a Group of Providers
The Location view is used to enter a referral that is not specific to one provider. On the My Custom Plan template, My Plan panel, select a diagnosis. Under Order Options, select Referrals. Next to View, select Locations and click a location. Note: The Referrals plan type, Location list includes the options to Show All or Show Internal. These lists are configured in File Maintenance. Enter a Specialty, Reason for Referral, and Timeframe. Enter any additional information in the General Comments field. The General Comments field includes My Phrases/Common Phrases links. Delete an Incorrect Order from an Order Set
On the My Custom Plan template, highlight the diagnosis. In the Order Options section, choose the Order Set from the Plan Type pane. Select On Row Select: Remove from Pending Orders. Do one of the following in the Pending Orders section: Click the appropriate order row in the grid to delete it from the set before selecting Place Order. Click Remove All. Enter and View Diagnoses on My Custom Plan
Orders can only be created after an assessment is designated for the encounter. On the My Custom Plan template, My Plan panel, do one of the following actions: Next to Diagnosis Selection, select the desired search option (Today's Assessments or Clinical Problems) to highlight the assessment in the grid. Click the Dx Search link to open the diagnosis search window. Search for and highlight the correct diagnosis. Click Select to return to My Custom Plan. Click Add/Edit Assessment or Add/Edit Problems below the grid (depending on the search option selected) to add as many assessments and/or clinical problems as is required. Click Save & Close to return to My Custom Plan. Note: There are five diagnoses or four clinical problems immediately visible in the grid with the option to scroll down to view all of the entered data. Pending Orders with Bypass Order Module Processing On or Off
With the Bypass Order Module Processing option turned on, orders added from the Order Options section appear in a grid for Pending Orders. When you place an order, the item is sent to the Orders table and appears in other order grids throughout the Framework templates. With the option to Bypass Order Module Processing turned off, you can update pending orders as follows: If all of the items in the order set for the selected diagnosis are intended to be ordered, you can select Place Order to update the grid for Pending Orders and the Orders module. When no order set is available for the diagnosis code, a Plan Type and details can be selected from a full list in the Order Options section. The orders are selected individually and added to Pending Orders section. The process is repeated until all orders are in the Pending Orders list for the selected diagnosis code.
