Update a Medicaton on the Oncology Medication History Grid
You can only update a medication record entered for the current encounter.

You can only remove records created during the current encounter. Access the Onc Treatment Summary template and scroll to the Oncology Medication History panel. Locate and select the medication to be removed on the Oncology Medication History grid. The system updates the fields with data from the selected record. Click Remove. Access the Onc Treatment Summary template and scroll to the Oncology Medication History panel. Oncology Medication History Click the Medication name field and select an active medication from the list. Note: The list shows all active and inactive medications for a patient. You can only select active medications from the list. If you select an inactive medication you will be prompted to re-prescribe the medication in the Medication module. You must first enter a medication in the Medication module for it to appear on this list. Enter data in all the remaining fields and click Add. The system adds the record to the grid and clears the data entry fields. Access the Onc Treatment Summary template and scroll to the Notes panel. Select the note to be removed in the Notes grid. The data entry fields are populated with the data from the selected note. Access the Onc Treatment Summary template and scroll to the Notes panel. Click the Type field and select Progress from the list. Type a progress note in the data entry area and click Add. The progress note appears in the grid. Click the Type field and select Radiation Oncology from the list. Type a radiation oncology narrative in the data entry area and click Add. The narrative appears in the grid. Scroll to the Problem List panel, click Add or Edit, and enter the following information: Problem Description Onset Date onc treatment summary template prob list Return to the Onc Treatment Summary template and select Tobacco Cessation from the left Navigation menu. The Tobacco Cessation template appears. Click the Tobacco Usage link. The Social History – Tobacco template appears. Enter the patient’s smoking use information and click OK.
