Test or Patient Data Section for Navigational Links

There are multiple fields in the Test/Patient Data section for the cardiology navigational links.

Field	Description
Test date	Displays the current encounter date by default.
Test type	Displays Internal by default.
Location	Displays the encounter location by default.
Reading	This field is populated when the test is signed by the reading physician.
Echo type	Displays the echo type.
Referring 1	Lists the referring providers. The Telephone icon displays the referring provider's telephone and fax information. This field retrieves the name of the provider if the echo test has been performed in a previous encounter.
Referring 2	Used to select another referring provider if required. The Telephone icon displays the referring provider's telephone and fax information.
Archive	Used to enter an archive name to record the corresponding tape number.
Sonographer	Displays the current logged on username by default. Lists sonographer's name.
Supervising	Lists supervising physicians.
Ordering	Lists ordering physicians.
Medications	This is a multi-select picklist that lists medications. Free text a medication allows to manually type a medication.
Cardiac history	This is a multi-select list that lists cardiac history.
Indications	Diagnosis field lists diagnosis. The Status field lists the statuses. You can select up to three diagnoses.
Currently Pregnant	Appears only for female patients. The Pregnancy Status has been updated in the Stress Data section.
Stress type	Lists stress type.
Archive	You can enter an archive name to record the corresponding tape number.
Technologist	Lists technologist name.
Clinical data	You can enter clinical data by typing free text or clicking the S icon to select a sentence from the Sentence Builder template.

Echo

You can record the echocardiogram test details and create a test report. The Echocardiogram template consists of the following panels. The intake staff documents the Procedure Information which includes pre-procedure care, test/patient data, vital signs, and technical details. Findings Summary Note: The fields marked with asterisk * are required. Document Echocardiogram Procedures You can document the Echocardiogram procedure from the Echocardiogram template on the Echo navigational link. Echocardiogram Test Findings You can document the Echocardiogram test findings on the Echocardiogram template on the Echo navigational link. Document Summary of Echocardiogram Tests You can document a summary of the Echocardiogram test in the Summary panel. Signing off on Echocardiogram Test Findings You can sign off the Echocardiogram test when all the required fields have been entered in the Echocardiogram template. General Tab

The General tab of the Create New Lab Order, Create New Radiology Order, Update Lab Order, or Update Radiology window displays default values for the ordering provider, location, billing type, order priority, order status, copy to physicians (primary care provider and referring provider from encounter). You can add other information, if it is available and required. Table 1. The following table describes the fields in the General tab Field Action/Description Ordering Provider Used to select the physician who is ordering the test(s). Select the down-arrow and select to select the provider if you need to update it. This default value for the encounter is the rendering provider. The Provider Search button brings up the Provider Search window and allows you to search physicians not in the list for the current practice and location. Cardiology Home Page

You can use the panels on the Home Page - Cardiology template to document a patient's visit. Panel Description Summary Displays the details documented by the intake staff and provider during an encounter. You can view the documented data by selecting the categories in the grid. Some of the categories include filters at the top of the grid, enabling you to narrow down to the desired data. The data displayed in the grid is view-only. Problems Displays the data related to the cardiac problems entered in the cardiac problems or (general) Problems module. The provider can review and update the documented data. Medical/Surgical/Interim Displays the data related to the patient's Medical/Surgical/Interim history that has been documented. The provider can review and update the documented data. Orders Summary Grid Columns

The following table lists the columns that may appear on the Orders Summary grid for Lab and Radiology orders based on the pre-defined or user-defined filter you select. Column Description Image Type Opens an icon indicating the order type. This column appears by default for all filters. Comments Contains a link to the associated comments in the Sign-off and Tracking Comments panel. Documents Contains a link to an associated document or image or URL in the Results panel for the specific order. Recurrence Opens an icon indicating a future or recurring order. You can select the icon to open the View Order Schedule window where you can view order schedule. Common Features and Links

You can access the common features and document the details of a patient using the links that are available on the standard visit template. The following are the common features and links that are available in the dental workflow: Field Description Patient Information Card You can configure the Patient Information Card in File Maintenance. You can set patient alerts, send emails, document telephone conversations, send a task, and track the time a patient spends during the visit. Risk Level You can select one of the color coded columns to associate a risk level to a patient on On the Risk Stratification template. Patient Recall Window

To view only active recalls for the patient, select the Show Active Recall Plans Only check box. This check box is selected by default. To view all recalls for the patient, active and stopped, deselect the Show Active Recall Plans Only check box. Note: When accessing the Patient Recall window to view recalls from the Appointment Book, Appointment List/Lookup, or Chart > Encounters tab, if no recall plans exist for the patient, the Recall Plan Maintenance window opens instead. A new recall can be entered for the patient, if needed. The Patient Recall window displays the following information in column format for each recall listed.
