Cardiology Home Page

You can use the panels on the Home Page - Cardiology template to document a patient's visit.

PanelDescription
SummaryDisplays the details documented by the intake staff and provider during an encounter.

You can view the documented data by selecting the categories in the grid.

Some of the categories include filters at the top of the grid, enabling you to narrow down to the desired data. The data displayed in the grid is view-only.

ProblemsDisplays the data related to the cardiac problems entered in the cardiac problems or (general) Problems module. The provider can review and update the documented data.
Medical/Surgical/InterimDisplays the data related to the patient's Medical/Surgical/Interim history that has been documented. The provider can review and update the documented data.
FamilyDisplays the data related to the patient family history that has been documented. The provider can review the documented data and update the documented data.
SocialDisplays data related to the patient's social history that has been documented. The provider can review and update the documented data.
AllergiesDisplays the details of the patient's allergy.
MedicationsDisplays the patient's medications documented in the Medication module.
Vital SignsDisplays the documented vital signs of a patient. The Historical information entered this encounter link opens the Vital Signs Historical template where you can update the patient's weight, blood pressure, and pulse. The BMI Plan link opens the Health Promotion Plan template to enter the Health Promotion Plan, Pain Management, Fall Risk, and Screening Tools/Follow-Up Plans of Care information. The History link at the top of the grid displays the details of the vital signs in a tabular format. The Graph link displays graphical views of data based on the specialty and the patient's age.
CommunicationsDisplays the details of the communication between the practice and a patient documented in the Telephone Call or Telephone Communication template. The badge count in the panel header indicates the number of open items in the communication queue. The Filter field at the top of the Communication grid enables the provider to filter the communication details based on the status. You can select the category from the left pane to filter and review the items by category. The numbers next to the items in the left pane indicate the number of items in the queue.
