Patient Recall Window

To view only active recalls for the patient, select the Show Active Recall Plans Only check box. This check box is selected by default.

To view all recalls for the patient, active and stopped, deselect the Show Active Recall Plans Only check box.

Note: When accessing the Patient Recall window to view recalls from the Appointment Book, Appointment List/Lookup, or Chart > Encounters tab, if no recall plans exist for the patient, the Recall Plan Maintenance window opens instead. A new recall can be entered for the patient, if needed.

The Patient Recall window displays the following information in column format for each recall listed.

Fields indicated with double asterisks (**) do not display when viewing recalls from the Add/Edit Appointment > Recall/Waitlist tab or the Chart > Clinical History/Notes tab.

Field	Description
Recall Plan	Recall plan name.
Date Added	The date the patient's recall was added.
End Date **	The date the patient's recall was stopped, either automatically by the system or manually by a user.
Last Date	The date the patient last had the recall service performed. This date recalculates the Return Date as follows: Last Date + Recall Every nn Days = Return Date
Return Date	The date the patient is expected to return.
Event	The event (appointment type) the patient is expected to return for.
Resource	The resource the patient is expected to return to see.
Location	The location the patient is expected to return to.
1st Sched Mailing	The date the first recall letter is scheduled to print and mail.
1st Act Mailing	The date the first recall letter was actually printed and mailed. Hover over the date to see where the first recall letter was sent. See note below.
2nd Sched Mailing	The date the second recall letter is scheduled to print and mail.
2nd Act Mailing	The date the second recall letter was actually printed and mailed. Hover over the date to see where the second recall letter was sent. See note below.
3rd Sched Mailing	The date the third recall letter is scheduled to print and mail.
3rd Act Mailing	The date the third recall letter was actually printed and mailed. Hover over the date to see where the third recall letter was sent. See note below.
1st Msg Date	The date when the first message is scheduled to be sent as per the recall plan setup in File Maintenance
2nd Msg Date	The date when the second message is scheduled to be sent as per the recall plan setup in File Maintenance.
3rd Msg Date	The date when the third message as per the recall plan setup in File Maintenance.
1st Msg Sent	The actual date when the first message was sent to the patient using NextGen® EDI services.
2nd Msg Sent	The actual date when the second message was sent to the patient using NextGen® EDI services.
3rd Msg Sent	The actual date when the third message was sent to the patient using NextGen® EDI services.
Note	Free-text notes added to the patient's recall.
Create Date **	The date the patient's recall was created.
Created By **	The user that created the patient's recall.
Modify Date **	The date the patient's recall was last modified.
Modified By **	The user that last modified the patient's recall.

Note: Point to the 1st Act Mailing, 2nd Act Mailing and 3rd Act Mailing date columns to display a tooltip indicating where the recall notification was sent.
