Patient Recall Window

To view only active recalls for the patient, select the Show Active Recall Plans Only check box. This check box is selected by default.

To view all recalls for the patient, active and stopped, deselect the Show Active Recall Plans Only check box.

The Patient Recall window displays the following information in column format for each recall listed.

Fields indicated with double asterisks (**) do not display when viewing recalls from the Add/Edit Appointment > Recall/Waitlist tab or the Chart > Clinical History/Notes tab.
FieldDescription
Recall PlanRecall plan name.
Date AddedThe date the patient's recall was added.
End Date **The date the patient's recall was stopped, either automatically by the system or manually by a user.
Last DateThe date the patient last had the recall service performed. This date recalculates the Return Date as follows:

Last Date + Recall Every nn Days = Return Date

Return DateThe date the patient is expected to return.
EventThe event (appointment type) the patient is expected to return for.
ResourceThe resource the patient is expected to return to see.
LocationThe location the patient is expected to return to.
1st Sched MailingThe date the first recall letter is scheduled to print and mail.
1st Act MailingThe date the first recall letter was actually printed and mailed. Hover over the date to see where the first recall letter was sent. See note below.
2nd Sched MailingThe date the second recall letter is scheduled to print and mail.
2nd Act MailingThe date the second recall letter was actually printed and mailed. Hover over the date to see where the second recall letter was sent. See note below.
3rd Sched MailingThe date the third recall letter is scheduled to print and mail.
3rd Act MailingThe date the third recall letter was actually printed and mailed. Hover over the date to see where the third recall letter was sent. See note below.
1st Msg DateThe date when the first message is scheduled to be sent as per the recall plan setup in File Maintenance
2nd Msg DateThe date when the second message is scheduled to be sent as per the recall plan setup in File Maintenance.
3rd Msg DateThe date when the third message as per the recall plan setup in File Maintenance.
1st Msg SentThe actual date when the first message was sent to the patient using NextGen® EDI services.
2nd Msg SentThe actual date when the second message was sent to the patient using NextGen® EDI services.
3rd Msg SentThe actual date when the third message was sent to the patient using NextGen® EDI services.
NoteFree-text notes added to the patient's recall.
Create Date **The date the patient's recall was created.
Created By **The user that created the patient's recall.
Modify Date **The date the patient's recall was last modified.
Modified By **The user that last modified the patient's recall.
