Appointment Lookup Window

From the main toolbar, select the Appointments button. The Appointment Lookup window opens. Enter the appropriate Search Criteria to locate an appointment for the patient. Select Find. In the Appointment List section, select the patient’s appointment. Right-click and select Recall. The Patient Recall window displays existing recalls for the patient. Patient Recall Window

Access the Patient Recall window. Select the recall plan for which a letter is to be printed. Do one of the following: Select the Open Menu button and select Print. Right-click and select Print. Select the Letters button and select Print. Note: The availability of the 1st Letter, 2nd Letter, 3rd Letter and Mailing Labels options from the Print menu is dependent on the Recall Letters settings for the recall plan in File Maintenance. For example, if only the 1st Letter and Mailing Labels options are selected in File Maintenance, then the 2nd Letter and 3rd Letter menu options are unavailable when a demand is printed for the recall plan. Print an Individual Recall Letter

An individual Recall Letter can be printed on demand for a patient from the following areas in NextGen® Enterprise PM: Appointment Book Appointment Lookup Window Patient Chart > Encounters Tab Checkin / Checkout AutoFlow Sequence > Patient Recall Note: Printing an individual recall letter on demand does not update the 1st/2nd/3rd Mailing Date for the recall in the patient's chart. Mailing dates are updated only if a letter is printed or exported in batch mode from the File > Print Forms > Letters > Recall Letters menu. Recall window settings

Button Description Clear Select to clear the Search Criteria entered. View an Archived Recall Letter from the Patient Recall Window

Access the Patient Recall window for the desired patient. Select the recall plan for which the letter is to be viewed, and then do one of the following: Select the Open Menu button and select View from the menu. Right-click and select View from the menu. Select the Letters button and select View from the menu. Note: The View menu is available for selection only if the Archive Letters > Recall check box is enabled in Enterprise Preferences > General. From the View menu, select one of the following: 1st Letter Sent 2nd Letter Sent 3rd Letter Sent Only letters that were previously generated and archived can be selected from the View menu. If a letter has not yet been archived, the menu option to view that letter is grayed-out and unavailable for selection. The Letter Preview window opens. When finished viewing, select the Close Preview button on the letter preview toolbar. Note: Archived letters cannot be reprinted. Therefore, the Print Dialog and Quick Print buttons are not available on
