Sign Off Procedure Orders

After placing the required procedure orders in the Today's Procedure Orders grid, you need to sign off the unsigned procedure orders.

  1. To sign off an individual procedure order,
    1. Click the Unsigned option above the Today's Procedure Orders grid. All the procedure orders which are unsigned appear in the Today's Procedure Orders grid.
    2. Select a row in the Today's Procedure Orders grid.
    3. In the Co-Sign/Sign Off Procedure Orders section,
      • Click the Individual order option. The Signed by, Date, and Time fields populate with the current user, date and time respectively.
      • If applicable, enter any additional comments on procedure orders in the Reason/Explanation/Comment field.
      • Click Sign/Update.

      The current user name appears in the Signed By column of the Today's Procedure Orders grid.

  2. To sign off all the procedure orders,
    1. Click the Unsigned option above the Today's Procedure Orders grid.
      All the procedure orders which are unsigned appear in the Today's Procedure Orders grid.
    2. In the Co-Sign/Sign Off Procedure Orders section,
      • Click the All orders option. The Signed by, Date, and Time fields populate with current user, date and time respectively.
      • If applicable, enter any additional comments on procedure orders in the Reason/Explanation/Comment field.
      • Click Sign/Update.

      The current user name appears in the Signed By column of the Today's Procedure Orders grid.

    The Task button is used to task the procedure order to the applicable recipients for any further process or sign off.
