Today's Procedure Orders Filters

The Today's Procedure Orders grid includes filter fields, as described below: View my orders - Displays orders selected by the current user of the system. View all orders - Displays all orders documented for the patient. View only unsigned orders - Displays the orders which do not have a value of Signed in the Signed column of the grid. Sign Off Procedure Orders

After placing the required procedure orders in the Today's Procedure Orders grid, you need to sign off the unsigned procedure orders. To sign off an individual procedure order, Click the Unsigned option above the Today's Procedure Orders grid. All the procedure orders which are unsigned appear in the Today's Procedure Orders grid. Select a row in the Today's Procedure Orders grid. In the Co-Sign/Sign Off Procedure Orders section, Click the Individual order option. The Signed by, Date, and Time fields populate with the current user, date and time respectively. If applicable, enter any additional comments on procedure orders in the Reason/Explanation/Comment field. Click Sign/Update. The current user name appears in the Signed By column of the Today's Procedure Orders grid. To sign off all the procedure orders, Click the Unsigned option above the Today's Procedure Orders grid. Add a Procedure Order During Procedure

The created procedure orders appear in the Today's Procedure Orders grid. Open the ASC - Physician Procedure template. In theProcedure Orderssection, from theProcedurelist, select the procedure for which you want to place the order. The list includes all the procedures entered in theProceduresection of theASC - Intaketemplate. Select type and category of the procedure order. All the preconfigured procedure orders matching the selected type and category appear in the grid. Procedure Orders To add a preconfigured procedure order, select it from the grid. To sign the procedure orders automatically on moving to the Today's Procedure grid, select the Sign Procedure Orders when added to Today's Orders check box. Note: When you select medication procedure orders, the drug interaction window containing all the interactions for the selected medication opens. Move Individual Procedure Order

To move an individual procedure order to the Today's Procedure Orders grid, Select the Add to Today's Orders on 1-click check box. Select the required procedure order in the grid. As you select an order in the grid, the system moves the order to the Today's Procedure Orders grid. After all the required procedure orders are moved to the Today's Procedure Orders grid, clear the Add to Today's Orders on 1-click check box. Procedure Orders Panel on the ASC - Physician Procedure Template

The Procedure Orders panel enables the providers to document the procedure orders. The procedure orders are pre-configured on the Procedure Orders and Discharge Instructions practice template. Move All the Procedure Orders

To move all the procedure orders to the Today's Procedure Orders grid, Select the Add all displayed to Today's Orders check box. The system fills the Status and Time fields automatically with the default status and the current system time respectively. You can modify the Status and Time details of the procedure orders. Click the Ordered By field and select the provider from the list. If the procedure orders are entered at a later point in time, you are able to update all the pre-configured procedure orders with the late entry details, as follows: Select the Select the Late Entry check box. Enter the date and time when the procedure was placed in the Date and Time fields respectively. In the Comment field, enter the reason for the late entry. Click Add. All the procedure orders move to the Today's Procedure Orders grid, and the Add all displayed to Today's Orders check box clears.
