Links and Buttons on Referrals Order Template

The following links, fields, and check boxes are available on the Referrals tab. Send a Quick Task

You can send a quick task. The task recipient is configured on the Practice Configuration template. If you do not configure the task recipient in the practice template, you can open the Quick Task Setup template using the Quick Task button the first time, where you can configure the functionality. On the Quick Task Setup template, the Source template field defaults to the template it opens from and the configuration applies to the current user logged on to the system. To open the Quick Task Setup template, and set up a new quick tasking action, use the cog icon to the right of the Quick Task button. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Intake template. In the Orders panel, select the Standing Orders link. The Office Services template opens. To send a referral to other staff members for any further action, select Quick Task. The Quick Task Priority or Quick Task Setup template opens. Note: You must select the Allow Override option to open the Quick Task Priority template. On the Quick

Set Up Quick Tasks

You can set up Quick Tasks for the first time. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Intake template. In the Orders panel, select the Standing Orders link. The Office Services template opens. On the Office Services template, select Quick Task. The Quick Task Setup template opens, and displays Office Services as the source template. Quick Task Setup template From the Task To list, select Individual or Group. From the Recipient list, select individual or group to receive the task. Enter the following information: Select a subject from the Subject list or enter manually. Select a category from the Category list or enter manually. Select the All or Specific option for the location. If you select Specific, then select the location from the list. Note: You can select the location if you select the Specific option. Select the Allow override check box. Enter a description that is not patient specific. Select Add. The task information appears in the grid. Do one of the following: To save the c

Open the Quick Task Setup

You can create a task using Quick Tasks. You can configure the recipients for your orders or tasks using the Practice Configuration practice template. Once configured, the task is automatically sent to the configured recipient at run time. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select File > System \ Practice Template. The Select Template window opens. Select the Practice tab. Under Show, select All. A list of practice templates appears. Select Practice Configuration, and select OK. The Practice Configuration template opens. To indicate that the Category field on the Quick Task Setup template, in the Quick task section, select the Require a Category to be entered when Quick Task settings are added or updated check box. Remove an Assessment from Add or Update Assessment Template

If you remove an assessment from the Add or Update Assessment template, you must add an assessment to carry over to other templates that share the same working assessment. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Add or Update Assessment template, select the Assessments tab. In the Today's Assessment grid, select an assessment. Select Remove. Select Save & Close.
