Pre Visit Planning

You can use the Pre Visit Planning template to review the summary of a patient's chart and take the appropriate steps to be prepared for an upcoming visit. The details in the Pre Visit Planning template are updated with the data from various templates to provide an overall preview of the patient's records before a patient's appointment. The information in this template is maintained by the clinical staff and used by the providers. You can use the Pre Visit Planning template to review a patient's chart and take appropriate steps to be prepared for an upcoming patient visit. Pre Visit Planning The Pre Visit Planning template enables clinical staff to handle administrative tasks before a patient's appointment. Managing Patient Care Guidelines You can manage the patient care guidelines and track the administrative tasks on the Work List panel. Reviewing Assessment and Plan History You can review the assessment and plan details of a patient during a visit. Bookmarking Documents and Images You can bookmark a patient's documents and images for quick reference. Viewing Communication Details On the Pre Visit Planning template, you can view a patient's communication details like phone calls, appointments, and outstanding tasks. Reviewing Lab Results You can review a patient's lab records and comments in the Lab Results panel. Reviewing and Modifying Patient's Problems You can review and modify a patient's clinical problem

View a Patient's Lab Results

You can view the patient's lab results on the Care Opportunities tab. You can view the lab results along with the date and time lab tests were performed for the selected patient. In NextGen Care® Population Management Hub, do one of the following: From the Cohorts tab, run a report. From the My Lists tab, run a list. From the Appointment Book tab, filter the patients. The patient list appears in the patient grid. In the patient grid, select the check box next to the patient. The patient’s lab result and time appears in Labs on the Care Opportunities tab. The recent lab results appear first in the list and the lab results are ordered by date the lab tests are performed on the selected patient. Viewing Test Results from a Medical Records Template

The Trend Results order control field on a Medical Records template displays a Results view from the Orders module that enables you to: Review all lab test results for the current patient. Graph the values for tests that were repeated for the patient. Link to web resources for patient education, clinical decision support, and provider reference. You can display all results (default filter) or use practice-level or private user filters to view only results that meet selected criteria. View Orders and Lab Results

You can view all the orders and lab results of a well child visit. Open the Pediatric SOAP template. In the Reason for Visit panel, click the Well child reason in the Reason for Visit grid. The Generic Free Form1 - HPI template opens. Click the Review of Test(s) link, and select a Category to view the orders and lab results of the patient. All the orders and lab results of the selected category appear in the grid. Review of Test Note: You can edit the order details to sign off on orders or add additional details to the ordered items using the Edit button.
