Residential Services Workflows

The templates available under the Residential Services visit type focus on documentation related to clients living in a treatment facility. Behavioral Health practices can record the admission of clients and maintain an ongoing record of a client's treatment.

The following templates are available under the Residential Services visit type and focus on residential treatment documentation:

  • BH - Residential Administration
  • Residential Bed Board
  • Shift Notes template set

BH - Residential Administration is an encounter-based template for recording the comprehensive intake of a client staying at a treatment center. The template enables access to the most important information during an intake: client tracking, a dependent list (if applicable), medications brought in with the client, programs in which the client is enrolled, authorization for visitors or calls, and a belongings list, all in one template. Users are able to document all of the necessary information for a residential administration intake within one template.

Users access the Residential Bed Board template to view a complete list of clients in a residential program. If there are any dependents living with a client at the facility, details pertaining to that minor are available on this practice template.

Three Shift Note templates enable various personnel to document data directly in a client’s chart. This functionality introduces important functionality for residential documentation. Records are kept on individualized charts broken down into three separate shifts in a single encounter.
