Remove an Entry Type from the Navigation Panel
In the
Navigation
panel, you can remove an entry type from the grid.
On the
Documentation Log Config
practice template, expand the
Navigation
panel.
Select a row in the grid.
Click
Remove
.
If the entry type has associated values, a confirmation message appears.
To confirm, click
Yes
.
The selected entry type removes from the grid.

Update the Documentation Log Entries
In the Navigation panel, you can modify the entry types and the associated navigational tabs in the grid. On the Documentation Log Config practice template, expand the Navigation panel. Select a row in the grid. The selected entry type details populate in the corresponding fields. Make relevant changes in the applicable fields. Click Update. The modified data updates in the grid. Configure Documentation Log Entry Type and Navigational Tabs
In the Navigation panel, you can configure documentation log entry types and assign navigational tabs to each entry type. The configured entry types and navigational tabs appear in the Documentation Log panel on the Documentation Log Config practice template. On the Documentation Log Config practice template, expand the Navigation panel. In Entry Type, enter the type of entry. In Navigation item 1, enter a label for the first navigational tab. In Navigation item 2 through Navigation item 5 , enter navigational tab labels that appear consecutively after you select an entry under each navigational tab. Click Template and select the template(s) where the configured entries and the associated navigational tabs appear in run time. To clear all the fields and start over, click Clear. Click Add. Note: If duplicate entries are detected by the system, an alert message appears to notify users. The data is added to the grid at the bottom of the Navigation panel. In the run-time ASC Documentation

Remove a Category
In the Navigational Item 2 panel, you can remove a category from the grid. On the Documentation Log Config practice template, expand the Navigation Item2 panel. Click Entry Type and select an entry from the list. The categories associated with the entry type appear in the grid. Select the category to be removed from the grid. Click Remove. Remove a Sub-Category
In the Sub Navigational Item 2 panel, you can remove a sub-category from the grid. On the Documentation Log Config practice template, expand the Sub Navigation Item 2 panel. Click Entry Type and select an entry from the list. Click Navigational Item 2 and select a category from the list. The sub-categories configured for the selected entry type and category appear in the grid. Select the sub-category in the grid. Click Remove. A confirmation message appears. To confirm, click Yes. Remove an Entry

Edit a Category
In the Navigational Item 2 panel, you can modify the categories in the grid. On the Documentation Log Config practice template, expand the Navigation Item2 panel. Click Entry Type and select an entry from the list. The categories associated with the entry type appear in the grid. Select the category you want to modify. The selected category appears in the field above the grid. Make relevant edits. Click Update. The modified category updates to the grid.
