Record Community Resources Discussed with Patients
You can record the community resources details that you have discussed with patients.
- Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
- For a patient encounter, open a template.
For example, Intake
- To open the navigation bar, select Navigation.
- Select Community Resources.
The Community Resources template opens.
- Review the available resources in the All Resources grid.
- To filter the grid by a specific type of community resource, in the Type field, select a value from the list.
- To add the resource to the Patient's Resources grid, do one of the following:
- In the All Resources grid, select the resource, and then select Include selected resource.
- Select the Automatically perform "Include" or "Remove" action on row select check box, and then in the All Resources grid, select the resource.
The community resource item is added to the Patient's Resources grid. - To view community resources discussed in previous visits, select the Prior visits option.
- Select Save & Close.
Note: You can select the Community Resources link on the Document and Letters template to give the patient a printout of the recommended resources and supports.
