Configure Community Resources

Community resources configured on the Community Resource Setup practice template appear on the Community Resources template in the All Resources grid. Resource data can be added, updated, and removed using the fields above the grid.

  1. From the File menu, select System/Practice Template.
  2. Select the Practice tab and select the All option.
  3. Select Practice Configuration Template to open the Practice Configuration Template.
  4. Select Community Resource Setup in the navigation bar.

  5. Enter the type of resource such as Pharmacy, Medical Office, and Dental in the Type field.
  6. Enter the name of the resource in the Resource field.
  7. Use the Street, City, State and Zip fields to enter the address of the resource.
    The system concatenates the address details into the Address column in the grid.
  8. If applicable, enter the email address.
  9. Enter the phone and fax number in the respective fields.
  10. Enter additional information in the Comments field, as needed.
    Comments are for internal use only and do not appear in the Patient's Resources grid.
  11. Do one of the following:
    • Select Add to add the resource to the grid below.
    • Select Clear to empty the fields without entering data into the system.
