Document Display Settings

The Document Configuration template enables you to generate a document in run time based on preferred settings. You can configure the document elements at the provider and practice levels, but not the document format. The practice template provides the ability to: Set up general, practice-level options and how information displays on documents for: Orthopedic encounters Vital signs Behavioral Health encounters Set up provider-level content for these document types: Chart Note Consult Note Referral Letter When Chart Note is selected as the default document to print from a patient encounter, the master document is set to generate offline. The practice decides the type of documents to be routed to the Provider Approval Queue (PAQ) for sign off. Set Up Preferences by Document Type

In the Provider Level Configuration section, the provider name selected in the Four Point Check automatically populates in the Provider field. Access the Documentation Configuration template. To select a different provider name, click the Provider field. In the Document Type field, click to select a value from the resulting list. Select the Consult Note or Referral Letter document type to add personalized information in the Opening statement and Closing statement fields. Document Type on Document Configuration Template Select the preferred elements to display in the generated document. Provider Level Configurations Select the Past Medical History, Family History, and Social History check boxes to include the details entered for these elements on the templates in the generated documents. Note: The Social History Confidential sections are not included in any document. Select from the options to load defaults for all documents or just the selected document type. Copy Preferences to All Providers in a Practice

On the Document Configuration template, Provider Level Configurations section, select the Copy to all providers in the practice check box. Click the From field and select the name of the provider to copy preferences from. Click Copy. An alert message appears. Do one of the following: Click Yes to overwrite any existing preferences and copy the selected From provider's preferences to all providers in the practice. Click No to cancel the changes. On the Document Configuration template, Provider Level Configurations section, click the From field and select the name of the provider to copy preferences from. In the To field, select the name of the provider using the copied preferences. Click Copy. An alert message appears. Do one of the following: Click Yes to overwrite any existing preferences and copy the selected From provider's preferences to the name selected in the To field. Click No to cancel the changes. Delete a Document Type Preference

On the Document Configuration template, Provider Level Configuration section, highlight a document type in the Configured Document Types grid. Click Delete.
