Panel Controls

You can expand or collapse all the panels and change the order of panels on a template. Panels display information according to the type such as Vital Signs or Allergies. You can change the order of the panels by selecting the title bar of a panel and dragging it to a different position on the template. If you change the order of the panels, the order remains the same until you change it again, and it is reflected on all patient charts. The Panel Control section includes two pairs of icons. The Toggle icons enable you to expand and collapse all the panels, and you can use the Cycle icons to shift the panels from top to bottom, one position at a time. Customizing the Template Panels

You can expand, collapse, and re-arrange the template panels as needed. Each template consists of horizontal panels that are used to organize your documentation by relevance. Allergy Home Page Template

You can review the historical information of the patient on the Home Page - Allergy template. The panels displayed on the Home Page - Allergy template can be customized by the practice. Panel Description General Enables you to indicate if the patient is new or an established patient for the current encounter. Allergy Test Flowsheet Enables you to list the allergy testing orders of the patient. Summary Enables you to view the details of the patient's past medical or surgical history, interim, social, family, diagnostic study, HPI, plan, lab, assessments and so on from the historical encounters. Using Collapsible Panels

Regular and Popup-type templates may contain one or more panels that you can collapse or expand to show or hide content as needed. You can use these panels to view existing information and document new information. These panels enable you to view a larger amount of content on a single template. Panels can be expanded or collapsed through triggers or a toggle button (arrow) on the panel header. An up arrow indicates an expanded panel, while a down arrow indicates a collapsed panel. You can double-click the template panel header to toggle the panel expand and panel collapse. An alert message appears when you double-click the panel header for expand and collapse. The alert messages are applied through alert triggers in the Template Editor. For example, when you double-click the panel header for expand the alert message. Orders Panel

The Orders panel includes the ability to view, process, manage, add, edit, remove, and/or place a follow-up order. In the Orders panel, you can do the following: Process lab and radiology orders Open the Order Management template Open the Immunizations template Access standing orders on the Office Services template Document patient education Create tasks on the To Do template Orders The View of All Orders link is selected by default. You can also see the other options to view which includes Labs, Diagnostics, Office Services, Immunizations Today, Surgical Procedures, Referrals, and Patient Education.
