Review of Obstetrics Details by Intake Staff

The intake staff begins the current encounter on the Intake template. They can review the patient details documented during the previous encounters on the Home Page - Obstetrics template. The Home Page - Obstetrics template displays the information documented by the intake staff on the Intake and Histories templates for the provider's review. Access Obstetric Prenatal Detail

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. To open the Templates module on a patient encounter, do one of the following: On the Categories or Encounter History tab, select Open Template. On Top Toolbar, select Templates . On the main menu, select File > New > Template. The Select Template window opens. Select Intake and then select OK. The Intake template opens. Open the Home Page Template

You can obtain the patient summary on the Home Page template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. To open the Templates module on a patient encounter, do one of the following: On the Categories or Encounter History tab, select Open Template. On Top Toolbar, select Templates . On the main menu, select File > New > Template. The Select Template window opens. On the Medical Records tab, select All. Select Home Page, and then select OK.The Home Page template opens. Access the Home Template

You can open the Home template to begin workflows on the NextGen® Orthopedic Suite. If you set up the Home template as the default template in the NextGen® Enterprise EHR user preferences, it will automatically open as the first template for new workflow appointments. You can also manually open this template from the Patient History bar. Open the NextGen® Enterprise EHR application. Select the desired patient record. Open the Allergy Home Page

You can use the Templates module to open the Home Page - Allergy template. Before you begin When you open the Home Page - Allergy template, ensure to select the specialty and visit type to open the framework template set for Allergy and Immunology. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. To open the Templates module on a patient encounter, do one of the following: On the Categories or Encounter History tab, select Open Template. Set Home Page as the Default Template

The recommended workflow for the Ambulatory Surgery specialty is to begin a patient encounter on the Home Page - Ambulatory Surgery template. You can either open the generic Home Page - Ambulatory Surgery template from the Templates module or set it up as the default template that automatically launches as the first template for a new encounter. In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, click Tools and select Preference from the top menu bar to open the Preferences template. Preferences Click the Templates tab. From the Default Template list, select gi_home_page. Home Page Click Apply and then click OK to save the new preference. When you open a new encounter in NextGen® Enterprise EHR, the Home Page - Ambulatory Surgery launches and displays the Udp Visit Types list to select a visit type.
