Map SNOMED Code with the Diabetic Eye Exam Procedure

  1. On the Data Sets Setup template, click Data Set and select Quality Reporting Order Findings xref.
    The existing data set items associated with the Quality Reporting Order Findings xref data set appear in the grid.

  2. Click Add.
    The Template Data Sets Setup – [New Record] template opens.

  3. If applicable, click Diagnosis description to search and select a diagnosis.
    The associated diagnosis code automatically populates.
  4. If applicable, click Provider and select a provider from Dbp Rendering Provider.
  5. In xref type, enter the system reference table name.
  6. In procedure code, enter the procedure code.
  7. In finding value, enter the physical examination value. For example, Negative, Normal, and so on.
  8. In code value, enter the SNOMED code.
  9. In code system, enter SNOMED.
  10. Click Save, and then click Close.
    The newly configured data set item displays in the Data Sets Setup template.
