Map a Specific Value of a Field

  1. On the E&M Bullets and Field Mapping system template, map the field with the first appropriate bullet ID on EM BULLET ID – FIELD MAPPING section, in the Page 2 (Mapping) section of the template.
  2. Go to the EM Field Maps section in the Page 3 (Fields) section, and in the data grid, select the row added in the previous step.
  3. Click the EM Bullet ID field, above the data grid to launch the picklist.
  4. From the picklist, select the applicable bullet ID and click the Add button.
The new mapping is listed in the data grid. By default the Specific value(s) for field give coding point option is selected.

In this example, the MS_All option is selected in the EM Type field, the pe_cardiovascular option is selected in the Table field, and the abnormal_s1_dtl option is selected in the Field Name field. The abnormal_s1_dtl field is already listed in the data grid, shown as being mapped to the EM Bullet ID option ms_cardio_1. In this example, for this mapping, an EM coding point is needed to be given when the specific value for the field is 1. Click the Specific Value field and select the field value as 1 with description Checked from the picklist. The Specific value(s) for field give coding point option is selected, and the Specific Value field displays a value of 1.

  5. Click the Add button to add the new field mapping for field value of 1 to the data grid.
  6. When you have completed the changes, click the Apply Changes button to activate the changes.
This feature also enables you to add different EM mappings for each of the different values from the same findings picklist.
