Manage the Framework Template Tabs

You can update or delete the framework template tabs from the Tab section. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Framework Content system template. Click the Tabs and Subnavigation panel. In the Tab section, in the grid, select a row. The data appears in the respective fields. To update a tab, make the changes in the fields, and click Update. To delete a tab, click Delete. Manage Systems in the Review of Systems List

You can add or delete the systems in the Review of Systems list. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Framework Content system template. Click the Review of Systems panel. Click the field above the System column. ROS Dropdown The Udp Fc Non Top Items window opens. Select a system in the list and click OK. Click Add. In runtime, the selected item is available in the left pane of the Review of Systems panel. The selected item appears in the grid on the Review of Systems panel. To rearrange the items in the Review of Systems grid in alphabetical order, select Sort Alphabetically. To remove a system, click Delete. Configure the Framework Template Tabs

You can configure the framework template tabs from the Tabs section. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Framework Content system template. Click the Tabs and Subnavigation panel. In the Tabs section, to select a visit type from the list, and click the Visit Type field. The Visit Type is based on the specialty that you select. The list includes only those visit types for which you have not configured the tabs. If the visit type is not in the list, select the visit type in the grid. Each visit type is configured to a range of Current Procedural Terminology ( CPT® ) codes which are used to calculate the Evaluation and Management (E&M) code on the Finalize template. Note: The Finalize template in Cardiology and Ophthalmology specialties calculates the codes differently, so you cannot add visit types for these specialties through this process. Manage Summary Selections on the Summary List

You can add, remove, and reorder the summary selections on the Summary list. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Framework Content system template. Click the Medical Chart Summary panel. To select an item in the list, click the list field above the Summary Item column, and select a summary item. The selected summary item appears in the field. To add the summary item to the grid, click Add. To rearrange the items in the Summary Listing grid in alphabetical order, select Sort Alphabetically. Remove a New Procedure Group

You are not able to remove any procedure group packaged with your version of NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Manage Procedure Groups and Codes practice template. Select the row in the grid for the procedure group to be removed. The Remove button is enabled. Click Remove to delete the procedure group and the associated description. Click Save from the top toolbar. Click Close from the toolbar to return to your regular workflow. Update an Existing Procedure Group

The Manage Procedure Groups and Codes practice template grid is filled with default content for the applied version associated with NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. You cannot remove any procedure groups that exist in the pre-packaged content. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Manage Procedure Groups and Codes practice template. Select the existing Procedure Group from the grid. In the Add Procedure Group section, type the name of the Procedure Group that is different from the existing name and the Description without selecting the Restrict Code check box. Do one of the following actions: Click Clear to remove the data without saving. Click Add/Update to enter the new values into the grid. Click Save from the toolbar. Click Close from the toolbar to return to your regular workflow. Note: You may also add or remove codes or service categories to existing procedure groups.
