Update an Existing Procedure Group

The Manage Procedure Groups and Codes practice template grid is filled with default content for the applied version associated with NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. You cannot remove any procedure groups that exist in the pre-packaged content.

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. Open the Manage Procedure Groups and Codes practice template.
  3. Select the existing Procedure Group from the grid.
  4. In the Add Procedure Group section, type the name of the Procedure Group that is different from the existing name and the Description without selecting the Restrict Code check box.
  5. Do one of the following actions:
    • Click Clear to remove the data without saving.
    • Click Add/Update to enter the new values into the grid.
  6. Click Save from the toolbar.
  7. Click Close from the toolbar to return to your regular workflow.
