NextGen Adaptive Content Engine, NextGen EDR, and NextGen Enterprise PM applications are essential and interdependent in the dental workflow.
NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine, NextGen® EDR, and NextGen® Enterprise PM are parts of a cohesive software system that works together to automate and streamline various administrative and clinical functions required for operating the dental practice.
The three applications work together to store and share information using the encounter as a catalyst. An encounter is created in NextGen® Enterprise PM either automatically as part of the patient check-in process, or manually.
NextGen® Enterprise PM represents the administrative side of dental practice including a patient database, appointment book, fee schedule, billing tools, and insurance and claims functions.
NextGen® EDR is the storehouse of dental records, charts, clinical notes, and treatments.
NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine enables you to review and document the patient's clinical information including the reason for visit, allergies, medications, dental treatment plan, dental care and tobacco.
The clinical information that you add in NextGen® EDR or NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine gets associated with the encounter. Once the visit is complete and the treatments and notes have been recorded, the patient is billed using NextGen® Enterprise PM.
