Generate Documents

You can generate and print various patient documents such as patient support cases, visit documents, referral thank-you letters, and provider communications on the Finalize - Cardiology template.

1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
2. Open the Finalize - Cardiology template.
3. Click the Evaluation and Management Coding panel.
4. In the Documents section, do the following:
   • To create a patient support case, click Patient Ticket.

     Using the Patient Ticket button, you can document if the patient accepted or refused the patient support case and add any comments. You can also send copies to another physician or to the NextGen® PxP Portal, if the patient is a participant.

   • To generate a visit document, click Visit Document.
   • To generate the referral thank you letter, click Referral Thank You.
   The corresponding document has been generated.
