Cardiology Provider Workflow on the Finalize Template

The Finalize template allows you to document various patient findings.

You can use the Finalize - Cardiology template to do the following.

  • Document assessments, medical decision making, counseling details, and Evaluation and Management (EM or E&M) coding.
  • Submit codes for billing.
  • Open a patient support case, visit document, and referral thank-you letter.
  • Evaluation and Management Coding You can use three types of guidelines to calculate the Evaluation and Management code for Cardiology.
  • Generate Documents You can generate and print various patient documents such as patient support cases, visit documents, referral thank-you letters, and provider communications on the Finalize - Cardiology template.
  • Review and Sign Off Care Plans The Provider Sign Off section enables you to send a request to the supervising physician for review and sign off to indicate that the plan of care provided to the patient is appropriate.
  • Enter Counseling Details You can enter the counseling details for a patient and include them in the visit note.
  • Virtual Visit Billing The Virtual Visit Billing section is enabled only for virtual visits.
