Enter Social Supports

  1. On the Social Supports panel of the BH CA Social History template, enter the client's Friendships/social/pets/peer support relationships.
  2. Include data about the client's community involvement, volunteer activities, leisure/recreation, and other interests in the Meaningful activities field.
  3. Click the Religion/spirituality field to open a list of religion choices.
  4. To document additional information, click Religion/spirituality comments.
  5. Enter one or more values to record the client's Race and if necessary, add Race comments.
    If this information was entered in the NextGen® Enterprise PM application, it populates here.
  6. Document the client's involvement in Community supports/self-help groups.
  7. Click the Ethnicity field to launch a new widget that enables you to select multiple ethnicities for the patient.
    If this information was entered in the NextGen® Enterprise PM application, it populates here.
  8. Document the client's Cultural/ethnic information and click the Cultural Practices/Activities link to enter additional information.
  9. To view all support resources or only active ones for this client, select one of the filter options for the grid.
  10. Enter information about the client's closest friends and relatives in the Support Resources section.
    The required Name and Effective date fields prompt an alert if the data is not populated after adding or updating a support resource.
  11. Click Add to include the entered data in the grid.
