Document the Summary of the Patient's Assessments

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and then in Patient History, select Open Templates. The Select Template window opens. On the Medical Records tab, select All. From the list, select Comp Assess - Assess/Plan, and then select OK. In the Life Goals, Strengths, Abilities and Barriers panel, enter the details of the patient's life goals, strengths, abilities, and barriers. In the Barriers to Care panel, document the obstacles to the patient's care. In the Service panel, enter the patient's care preferences and environmental support details. In the Clinical Formulation/Interpretative panel, document the patient's clinical summary. Document the Patient's Mental Health and Risk Assessment Information

Document the Patient's Psychiatric Progress Note

The EM Coding button launches the Finalize template, which enables you to submit billing codes. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and then in Patient History, select Open Templates. The Select Template window opens. On the Medical Records tab, select All. Select Psych Prog Note (BH), and then select OK. Note: You can open the Psych Prog Note (BH) template from your Packet Navigation, or from the Templates module. Document the Patient's Status

You can document the status of a patient on the Social History - Status template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. To open the Social History - Status template, do one of the following: On the Histories template, expand Social, select Statuses, and then select Add/Edit. In the History Summary panel on the Intake template, select Social, select General, and then select Add/Edit. Social History - Status In the Demographics section, document the patient's race, ethnicity, and preferred language, the language they speak at home, and their dominant hand. In the Employment section, do the following: Select Add, and on the Employment/Occupation – [New Record] template, enter the patient's occupation, employer information, employment status, restrictions, and other details. Document Occupation of a Patient

You can document the occupation details of a patient in the Social History - Occupation template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. To open the Social History - Occupation template, do one of the following: On the Histories template, expand the Social panel, select Occupation, and then select Add. In the History Summary panel on Intake, select Occupation from Social, and then select Add. Enter the employment and employment status in the corresponding fields. Enter phone number and restrictions in the corresponding fields. Select occupation from the list in the Occupation field. To clear and select another occupation, select Cl button and select occupation from the list. To select the retirement date, select the Retired field. Save and close the template.
