Edit the Entries in the Inventory Panel
In the Inventory panel, you can modify the entries of the equipment details in the grid.

In the Inventory panel, you can remove an inventory entry from the grid. On the Equipment Log practice template, expand the Inventory panel. Select the applicable row in the grid. Click Remove. On the Equipment Log practice template, expand the Inventory panel. Select an equipment type from the first left pane. The associated categories appear in the second left pane. The short description of the selected equipment type appears as the navigational tab above the first left pane. Select a category from the second left pane. The associated description appears in the right grid. The short description of the selected category appears as the navigational tab above the second left pane. Select a description from the right grid. Repeat Steps 3 and 4 to group the applicable categories and the associated descriptions. In run time, when you select a category and the associated description that is grouped for the inventory, the system auto-selects the rest of the categories and the associated descriptions within that group. The Clear button clears all the selections from the left panes and right grid. Click Add. In the Inventory panel, you can group the individual pieces of equipment with the associated description that are tagged for inventory reference in the Category panel. In run time, when a category and description that are associated with a piece of equipment in the Inventory panel are selected, the system auto-selects the other characteristics for that piece of equipment. For example, if you select a scope as the equipment type, select a serial number as the category, and then the value 123456, the system will find the inventory grid for the scope with serial number 123456. The system also finds that the Manufacturer for the scope with the serial number 123456 and the associated model number. In run time, the system auto-selects the Manufacturer as XYZ and model number as xxx-xxx. Note: : You need to select the Inventory reference check box for the equipment and associated category in the Categories panel. Select a row in the grid in the Equipment Log panel. The data is populated in the corresponding fields at the top of the grid. Make relevant changes. Click Update. In the Categories panel, you can modify the equipment details in the grid. On the Equipment Log practice template, expand the Categories panel. Select a row of equipment in the grid. The data populates in the respective fields above the grid. Make relevant changes. Click Update. The modified values update in the grid. In the Categories panel, you can remove an equipment type and the associated details from the grid. On the Equipment Log practice template, expand the Categories panel.
