The Documentation Log panel displays the procedure related entries in the grid documented on the ASC - Preprocedure and ASC - Intraprocedure templates. The clinicians can track the medications and assessments during post-procedure, and add a follow-up entry to the existing entries in the grid. The clinicians can also add a new entry in the panel. The Documentation Log panel displays the procedure details documented on the ASC - Preprocedure template. The nurse or clinical staff can add a follow-up entry to the existing procedure details in the grid, and/or add new procedure details. The Documentation Log panel is a centralized location to document patient's assessments, routine quick notes, medications administered to the patient, any adverse events that occurred during the procedure, and the nursing diagnosis and nursing assessments initiated for the patient. The Documentation Log panel is also available on the following templates: ASC - Intraprocedure ASC - Postprocedure ASC - Anesthesiology Documentation Log The Procedure field displays the first procedure documented in the current encounter. Procedure Orders on the ASC - Anesthesiology Template

The Procedure Orders panel displays the procedure orders documented by the physicians on the ASC - Physician Procedure template. In this panel, the system fills the Ordered by field automatically with the provider name selected from the Anesthesia provider field in the General panel on the ASC templates. The Anesthesiologist can review the existing procedure orders and document any new orders in this panel.
