Document the Additional Findings of the Procedure in the Findings Panel
- In the Reason for Visit section, select the applicable procedure to document the finding.
To select more reasons for visit, click the Extra
button on the Reason for Visit section and then select the Manage reasons for visit option from the menu. The Reason for Visit window opens.
- Click the field at the bottom of the window to select a reason from the list.
- Click Add.
The Findings section includes the findings that are configured on the Procedure Documentation Config practice template. - Based on the procedure selected in the Reason for Visit section, click the appropriate illustration tab ( Upper GI, Lower GI, and Anal/Rectal) to display the corresponding illustration. Each illustration is divided into regions.
- In the Findings section, select a finding.
- Click a particular location on the illustration to select a region.
The label appears on the selected region in the GET. The selected finding uploads in the grid on the GET, and in the procedure findings grid below the GET.Note: If you select the Image option from the Findings list and place on the GET, the system does not display the Image finding in the procedure findings grid below the GET. The Image option in the Findings list is used to add additional images, which may not be related to any procedure finding, to display in the procedure document. For information on how to add additional images, see Add Additional Images to a Finding.
- To add follow-up to the finding in the grid on GET:
- Select a row of finding in the GET grid.
- Right-click the selected row and select Flag (Follow Up) option from the sub-menu.
The row displays
indicating that the finding is flagged to perform follow-up.
- Click the row of the finding in the grid below GET.
The ASC Phy Procedure Findings template opens.
- Document the ASC Phy Procedure Findings template.
- To remove a procedure finding from the grid below GET, do one of the following:
- Select the row of finding(s) on the GET grid, right-click, and select Delete Row(s).
- Right-click an annotation in GET and select Delete.
The selected row(s) removes from both the GET grid and the grid below GET.
Note: If you select the values associated with the Procedure diagnosis and billing data configured on the Procedure Documentation Config practice template, then the procedure data uploads in the grid in the Procedure Billing panel after you click the Auto Billing button in the panel.
