If the patient does not opt for a reminder, select the Patient declines reminders check box. The selection makes the Add button on the Reminder panel unavailable.
On the Telephone Communications template, Reminder panel, click the Type field and select the type of reminder.
Under Contact method, select the Preferred or Other option, and then select the contact method from the list.
Note: If you select Preferred and no preferred method has been defined for the current patient, a Question window opens with the option to enter a preferred method or to move to the Other list for more options.
To enter a date other than today, click the Sent field and select the date when the reminder was made.
To enter any additional information related to patient reminder, click the Comments field to type.
To clear the fields without saving the data, click the Clear button.
