panel, select the row you want to remove.
The fields at the top of the
Reminder
panel fill with the selected patient reminder details.
Click
Remove
.
The selected row has been deleted from the grid.

Modify Existing Patient Reminders
On the Telephone Communications template, Reminder panel, select the row that you want to modify. The fields at the top of the Reminder panel fill with the selected patient reminder details. Document a Call
On the Telephone Communications template, Communication panel, click New Call to document the details of the call. Click the Call Type field and select a type of call from the list. The links in the left pane and the corresponding options appear based on the selected Call Type. Select an option for each of the following fields: Contact Type Urgency Spoke With Note: The required fields are highlighted by bolded column headings. You must document these fields before you can save the call information in the grid. Click the Contact Information link. Select an option for each column, Preferred Contact and Alternate Contact. Click the links from the left pane to document the call details. Each link has different options which you can select to build the call information. Enter comments in the text field below the grid. Document Patient Reminders
If the patient does not opt for a reminder, select the Patient declines reminders check box. The selection makes the Add button on the Reminder panel unavailable. On the Telephone Communications template, Reminder panel, click the Type field and select the type of reminder. Under Contact method, select the Preferred or Other option, and then select the contact method from the list. Note: If you select Preferred and no preferred method has been defined for the current patient, a Question window opens with the option to enter a preferred method or to move to the Other list for more options. To enter a date other than today, click the Sent field and select the date when the reminder was made. To enter any additional information related to patient reminder, click the Comments field to type. To clear the fields without saving the data, click the Clear button. Click Add. Update or Delete a Reminder
You can modify reminder details for a patient on the Telephone Call template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Telephone Call template, expand the Reminder panel. Select a reminder from the grid. To update the reminder details, modify the details, and then select Update. The updated reminder appears in the grid. To delete the reminder details, select Remove. Remove a Personalized Reminder
You can remove a personalized reminder related to patient on the Personalized Reminder/Orderable template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select the Care Guidelines link on any of the main template. The Care Guidelines Paged View template opens. Expand the Care Guidelines panel and select the Add/Update Reminders link. The Personalized Reminder/Orderables template opens. Select a reminder listed in the grid. The reminder and its details populate the fields above the grid. Select Remove. The reminder disappears from the grid and does not display in Active or Completed view. Select Save & Close. Parent topic: Personalized Reminders
