Document Equipment Details on the Intra-Procedure Template

  1. On the ASC - IntraProcedure template, navigate to the Equipment panel and click the Add button to open the ASC Equipment template.
    The Procedure field defaults with the value of the Procedure field on the ASC-Intraprocedure template.
  2. To select a different procedure, do one of the following:
    • Click the Procedure field and select a procedure from the list.
    • Click the left blue arrow or right blue arrow to navigate to the previous or next procedure respectively.
  3. Select a value for Equipment Type from the pane.
    The short description of the equipment type appears as a navigation tab above left pane.

    The ASC Equipment template is configured on the Equipment Log practice template. For more information, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest Equipment Log Practice Template forNextGen®Adaptive Content Engine.

  4. Select a category from the grid.
    The associated descriptions appear in the grid. The short description of the category appears as a navigation tab above the pane.
  5. To select a value from the grid, do one of the following:
    • Select the appropriate value in the grid.
    • Click Custom value to enter appropriate description in the field and click OK.

      The description entered as a custom value displays in the grid.

      An asterisk (*) appears to indicate that the value is selected.

  6. To remove the asterisk (*), click the value again.
  7. To add a new equipment type, click Add New.
    The system saves the entry and clears the selections so that another Equipment Type can be entered.
  8. Click Save & Close to return to the ASC-Intraprocedure template.
    The documented equipment details appear in the grid.
